Online SUBSCRIBER HELP & SERVICES:
Frequently Asked Questions about Member Subscriptions
  1. Will I receive a password? May I share my password with friends, or is use limited solely to me?

When you complete the subscription process, you will receive a customer ID #. This will allow you to set up your own user name and password. You are the only one licensed to use the username and password that you select.

  2. What if I forget my password?

Click here to reset your password. Your new password will be emailed to you.

  3. Why should I get a member subscription to ASPB journals Online?

    Member Subscribers have access to:
Tables of contents, abstracts, full text searching, full text display, document delivery, PDFs, links to Medline and gene databases, future tables of contents, and interjournal links to other HighWire Press journals and have the advantage of having password access to ASPB journals Online from any computer connected to the Internet.
    [ORDERING & COST]

Without a subscription, you have access to tables of contents and abstracts,(but not full text) at no cost and without having to register.

  4. How can I tell if my institution has subscribed? How do I get my institution to subscribe?

If your institution is a subsciber, it can automatically set up online access. If it has done so, you will have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and gene database links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.

If you would like your institution to have an Institutional Subscription, please contact your librarian.

  5. Who is eligible for a Member Subscription?

ASPB members receive free access to ASPB journals Online. Members may also have access to ASPB journals Online through an Institutional Subscription. Nonmember individuals can receive online access only if they also subscribe to the print journal.

  6. How can I access ASPB journals Online if I am not an ASPB member and I don't have access through an institutional subscription?

You may wish to apply for membership, or you may wish to purchase an Individual (Non-member) print subscription, which provides access to the electronic version. Without a subscription, you have access to tables of contents and abstracts,(but not full text) at no cost and without having to register.

  7. How do I become a member of ASPB?

Information about ASPB membership and an application form are available on ASPB's web site (http://www.aspb.org).
